PinkTronix can supply and install Christian and Ethnic TV satellite reception systems to receive the free to air transmissions currently broadcast from satellite OPTUS D2.

The transmissions from Optus D2 will provide you with around 10 free-to-air Christian channels from several denominations including Southern Baptist, Roman Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist and Pentecostal just to name a few. There are also conferences, Bible teaching, kid's shows, teen programs, documentaries and movies.
In addition to the Christian channels there is also a suite of foreign language channels, including some of the non Christian denominations and current affairs programs as well.
Watch world news with a Muscovite point of view on Russia Today and then contrast it with a bulletin with an Iranian perspective on Press TV, with all networks broadcasting in English around the clock. Catch up on the latest whale wars on NHK, the Japanese national broadcaster. These broadcasts can be compared to Australia's ABC or the UK's BBC…..with their own brand of national bias and political slant.
Perhaps your mind will be a little more enquiring the next time you take in the six o'clock news on an Aussie network.
Not all decoders are created equal and there are still some being offered which are many years out of date. These decoders may be only recently manufactured but they do not contain the latest in software or video connections as the technology is changing so fast.
Some of these older decoders are not fully compatible with high resolution television sets and will display an inferior image when compared to a modern machine.
Some will not have the latest rescan technology or complete video format software.
For this reason PinkTronix does not maintain a stock of generic satellite decoders.
PinkTronix will order your decoder when you request an installation and will only install the larger 85 cm dishes, thus ensuring you have a completely up to date system optimised for minimum rain fade and signal drop out.
The channels are unencrypted and access is free with no smart card or registration of any kind required. The service is free after installation.
